Four Winds: Mahjong Club · last updated October 9, 2026
Four Winds has no accounts and no ads, and never asks for your name, email, contacts, or location. It uses one outside service, Google's Firebase, to understand how the game is played and to fix crashes. What that involves is listed below.
- Gameplay analytics, crash reports and remote game settings use Google's Firebase (Google Analytics for Firebase, Crashlytics and Remote Config), so we can see which tables are too hard, what players enjoy, and fix crashes. Firebase receives an app-specific installation identifier, device model, OS and app version, country and region (worked out from your IP address), session times, and game events: hands started, won, lost and left with the rules and table played, points and time, club points and ranks, Hand Book entries, practice-hand steps, hints used, when the Club Pass is shown, and Club Pass purchases (product, price and currency). If the app crashes, Crashlytics receives the crash report with diagnostic details such as the device state and the hand being played. Remote Config only downloads settings for the game. Firebase does not receive your name, email, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifier (the app never asks to track you), and the data is not used for advertising or sold. You can turn analytics off at any time in Four Winds' Settings under "Share usage data". Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
- Your games, club points, Hand Book, settings, and a record of what you have bought are saved on your device. Deleting the app deletes them. We run no servers of our own; the only data that leaves your device is what this page describes.
- The Club Pass is bought through the App Store and processed by Apple, and Apple's privacy policy covers that transaction. The app asks Apple whether you own the Club Pass so it can unlock it; we never see your payment details.
- The app contains no advertising and no ad tracking.
- Four Winds is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
If a future version adds online play with friends through Apple's Game Center, or anything else that changes this, this page will be updated before that version is released.
